Depending on the type of jewelry there are several tips to keep your pieces as good as when you got them, gold is a soft metal and any soft scratches can be wiped with a polishing cloth but if any gemstones are set be careful not to rub them as you may damage them, if the scratches are too deep and numerous it should be polished professionally at an atelier such as ours. For diamond jewelry they can get dirty/cloudy by getting in contact with oils, makeup or perfumes, which is easily cleaned by getting hot water and rinsing it with a very soft brush such as a toothbrush preferably, and then letting it dry without exposing it to cold. For pearls and nacre we recommend using a cloth dipped in lukewarm water and wiping it softly as pearls are more fragile.

For international orders placed with Gemayel Jewellery, customs fees are not collected by us at the time of purchase. Instead, customers should refer to the local authorities to know the customs due in the country being delivered to. You are responsible for paying these fees directly to the shipping carrier upon delivery of your order, facilitating a smoother delivery process by handling applicable taxes or duties with the carrier.
